Sunday 24th December
This was the start of the Christmas celebrations. There were a lot of events organised but the one that stood out from the rest was the beach party organised by the Happy Bar. So that’s what we did.
Early in the afternoon we all climbed on board on of 3 boats where we were taken off to a nearby uninhabited island to party on the beach. There was loads of food and drinks available and a fire on the beach once it got dark. A lot of people were really getting into the party spirit but most were just happy to relax on the beach and enjoy the atmosphere. About a third of the party decided to stay overnight whilst the rest of us were taken back to Don Det later that evening, or possibly early the next morning. It all gets a bit fuzzy then.
It was an amazing way to start Christmas day.
